Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC is seeking a compassionate Van Driver in Warwick, RI to transport residents to appointments, outings, and shopping trips. You will support activity planning and ensure safety during transport, while maintaining vehicle upkeep and a positive, caring demeanor.

Responsibilities include assisting with excursions, monitoring resident safety, and collaboration with staff. A High School diploma and a valid driver’s license with clean record are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in elderly residents and ability to address their needs.
• Experience in activities or recreational planning helpful.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
• Maintains vehicle condition and safety in accordance with maintenance plan.
• Acts as Activity Assistant during excursions and stays with group.
• Monitors resident activity and notifies staff when assistance is needed.
