Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC in Warwick, RI is seeking a compassionate Van Driver to transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping, while supporting activity outings as needed. Responsibilities include keeping vehicles safe and maintained, assisting as needed, and communicating clearly with residents and staff.

High School diploma and a valid license with clean driving record are required; interest in elderly care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have interest in elderly care and servicing their needs.
• Demonstrated activities/recreational experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with residents and staff.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
• Maintains vehicles in accordance with warranty requirements and internal maintenance plan.
• Acts as an Activity Assistant during excursions and stays with the group.
• Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure safety.
