Job summary

Complete Care at Park Place Center is seeking a Unit Secretary to support our residents and caregiving team. You will answer phones, coordinate appointments, and assist with daily tasks.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; prior long-term care experience is preferred but not required. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Answer phones as necessary.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer resident call lights.
• Transfer hospital appointments and schedule doctor appointments.
• Report all accidents and incidents to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager.
• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager.
• Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
