Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Previous Unit Aide experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Basic Life Support - CPR (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides non-clinical patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists with patient comfort, transport, light cleaning, stocking supplies, and relaying messages to nurses.
• Maintains unit efficiency and supports the healthcare team.
• Documents patient records per hospital policy.
• Participates in staff development and quality improvement activities.
• Advocates for patient rights and communicates with team members.
