Job summary

Wise Path Recovery Center - Aurora is expanding access to healthcare and recovery services by operating a dedicated transportation program across north-central West Virginia. We are hiring full-time Drivers/Transporters to provide safe, dependable transportation to substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health services, and other approved healthcare appointments.

Training includes safety, HIPAA, and defensible procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have aged 18 years or older.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Safe and responsible driving history required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate when interacting with riders.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation to treatment and healthcare appointments.
• Create a welcoming, trauma-informed environment for riders.
• Maintain professional boundaries with riders.
• Communicate with dispatch and leadership about arrivals, delays, and issues.
• Assist riders entering/exiting vehicles and ensure seat belts are used.
• Complete trip documentation and vehicle inspections as required.
