Job summary

Midland Care Connection is seeking a Transportation Specialist to support the PACE program by safely transporting participants between homes, medical appointments, and the Day Center.

In this role you will operate buses, vans, or cars, assist participants with transfers, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness while coordinating with the care team to ensure timely, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license.
• Current automobile liability insurance.
• Able to pass and maintain a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement).
• Physical ability to assist participants, including bending, lifting, and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses, vans, or cars to transport participants to appointments and the PACE Day Center.
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and buildings, including wheelchairs or ambulatory transfers.
• Maintain a supportive, respectful environment during trips and communicate schedule changes to the care team.
• Keep vehicles clean, perform basic safety checks, and report any issues or changes in participant health.
