Job summary

Midland Care Connection is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely transport PACE participants between homes, medical appointments, and the PACE Day Center. The role requires assisting participants in and out of vehicles, helping with wheelchairs, and maintaining a clean, safe vehicle environment.

Responsibilities include observing safety regulations, reporting schedule changes to the care team, and providing light duties at the Day Center as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Kansas or Missouri driver\'s license (or ability to obtain one)
• Must pass and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Experience working with frail, elderly, or disabled individuals preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive buses, vans, or cars to transport participants between homes, medical appointments, and the PACE Day Center
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and buildings, help with wheelchairs and transfers
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment during trips and observe safety regulations
• Keep vehicles clean and perform basic safety checks; report vehicle issues to care team
• Communicate schedule changes or participant concerns to the care team; may assist with light duties at the Day Center
