Job summary

Midland Care Connection, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely transport PACE participants between homes, medical appointments, and the Day Center. You will drive buses, vans, or cars and assist participants in and out of vehicles, with wheelchairs and transfers as needed.

You must have a valid Kansas or Missouri driver's license, current automobile liability insurance, and be able to pass a DOT physical. Join a dedicated not-for-profit team serving older adults in the community.

Qualifications

• Valid Kansas or Missouri driver’s license.
• Current automobile liability insurance.
• Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to assist participants, including lifting and transfers.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses, vans, or cars to transport participants between homes, medical appointments, and the Day Center.
• Assist participants in and out of vehicles and buildings; help with wheelchairs and transfers as needed.
• Maintain a respectful, supportive environment during trips and report any schedule changes or vehicle issues to the care team.
