Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking a Transportation Driver to meet the transportation needs of our residents. You will drive Frederick Living vehicles, ensure residents are comfortable and safely secured, and demonstrate knowledge of the wheelchair lift and vehicle safety features.

This flex pool position may include weekends and holidays. We offer benefits such as Health Insurance, 401K with company match, Referral Bonus, Compassion and Relief Fund and Wellness Programs. Rates start at $15.50/hour.

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver's license and safe driving record.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to operate the wheelchair lift and vehicle safety features.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team player.
• Practice safe driving at all times.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and safely secured.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the mechanical wheelchair lift and vehicle safety features.
• Maintain proper fuel levels and report any mechanical or body defects to the Transportation Manager.
• Respond to scheduling requests within 24–48 hours.
• Know the bus route to and from the designated site.
• Report any incidents concerning residents to Transportation Manager or staff.
• Keep the vehicle clean.
• Keep an operating cell phone available during transport.
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct and perform other duties as required.
