Job summary

Damar Services in Richmond, IN is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to and from their destinations, supporting their well‑being and daily life.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of transportation experience, 18+ years old, a valid Indiana driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background checks. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of previous transportation experience required.
• Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier.
• Be clear of any felony convictions or disqualifying criminal convictions.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Favorable background screening.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and travel throughout Marion County to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
• Ensure the safe and reliable pickup and delivery of residents to their designated locations.
• Complete pre- and post-trip reports for each trip.
• Keep documentation accurate and up to date.
• Prioritize duties in line with organizational objectives and growth.
• Maintain required training and licensure items.
