Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License in state of employment.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and graduate within 120 days.
• Red Cross First Aid Certificate.
• Experience in healthcare or service industry preferred.
• Compassionate and enthusiastic personality.

Responsibilities

• Transport and assist residents to outside physician visits safely.
• Assist with transporting residents within the facility to scheduled specialty appointments.
• Assist with transporting residents to and from in-house activities.
• Monitor residents deemed elopement risk on outside visits.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents.
• Maintain resident documentation records.
• Adhere to departmental and corporate policies and safety standards.
• Attend scheduled training and orientation programs.
