Job summary

Greenbriar Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Transportation Assistant. Regular hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility for early or late appointments when needed.

Responsibilities include transporting residents to outside physician visits and in-house appointments, monitoring elopement risks, and assisting with basic nursing tasks while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license in Ohio required.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible and able to complete/state test within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Transport and assist residents to outside physician visits safely by facility vehicle.
• Assist with intra-facility transport to scheduled appointments and activities.
• Provide one-on-one monitoring for elopement-risk residents on outside visits.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Maintain resident documentation records and follow policies.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards.
