Job summary

REM Community Services provides transportation services for clients and agency personnel. The role requires safe driving, a valid driver’s license, and insurance; you will transport clients to programs and maintain vehicle cleanliness and records. The position supports the Sevita family and runs Monday through Thursday with two four-hour shifts, paying $15 per hour.

Heavy work capacity is noted, and travel may be required. This is a part-time transportation support role within the Sevita network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License and car insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe transportation of clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions.
• May assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• May keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers.
• Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of vehicle including refueling and basic maintenance.
• Maintains proper vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, etc.).
• May perform custodial and maintenance tasks when not driving.
