Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide safe, courteous transport for residents within the community and to social activities. Duties include assisting residents in and out of vehicles, maintaining safety protocols, and coordinating with the Engage Life team.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, a CDL, and a strong driving record. The role offers a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five+ years driving experience expected.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance recommended.
• Must meet company motor vehicle record standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle safely.
• Secure wheelchairs and equipment for stability during trips.
• Practice safe driving at all times and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues.
• Maintain trip records and maintenance logs.
• Deliver groceries and personal items to residents' apartments.
• Support Engage Life activities and community programs as needed.
• Ensure daily charges for travel expenses are submitted to the office.
