Job summary

Service Corporation International in Longmont, CO seeks a Transfer Specialist to handle care, transfer, and transport of the deceased, driving company vehicles and maintaining appearance when meeting families.

Collaborate with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and facilities; document events in our software; assist with casket transfers and logistics while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfers and safely drives company vehicles for first call transfers of deceased per laws and policies.
• Cooperates with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and facility personnel.
• Interact with bereaved family members respectfully and professionally during home transfers.
• Enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to procedures.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with movement.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and keep vehicles clean and ready for use; identify issues and report them.
