Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience preferred as courier or driver with customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company vehicles for first call transfers in compliance with laws and policies.
• Maintains chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification.
• Cooperates with responders, hospital staff, and facilities per procedures.
• Interacts professionally with families for home transfers; shows sensitivity.
• Transfers soiled items per policy and leaves a courteous impression.
• Enters event information into proprietary software.
• Transports caskets to airports or funeral homes; assists with movement.
• Vehicle maintenance: wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles.
• Fuels vehicles as needed and follows safety guidelines.
• Keeps PPE and transfer supplies in vehicles; notifies management of issues.
