sci is seeking a dedicated driver/courier in Tahlequah, OK, to perform first call transfers of deceased and related duties. You will work with funeral homes, hospitals, and responders, ensuring proper paperwork and chain-of-custody practices.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid state driver’s license, and at least 1 year of courier experience with customer interaction. Heavy lifting and irregular hours are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to work schedule to support business needs including weekends and nights.

Responsabilités

• Safely drives company owned professional vehicles to perform first call transfer of deceased in accordance with local and state/provincial laws as well as company policies and procedures.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff, or Senior Living facility and accommodate their processes and procedures
• For home transfers, courteously and professionally interacts with bereaved family members; exhibits sensitivity to environment; minimizes conversation.
• Enters deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assists with moving caskets
