Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a part-time courier/driver to support removal operations for deceased individuals. You will drive company vehicles for first-call removals, assist with transport to funeral homes or care centers, and complete related documentation in a respectful, compliant manner.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and flexibility for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

Ability to work weekend and night schedules to support business needs.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.
Strong customer interaction while maintaining sensitivity with bereaved families.
Must have basic computer skills and drive safely in all conditions.

Responsibilities

Removal: Safely drive company vehicles to perform first-call removals in compliance with laws and policies.
Maintain chain-of-custody, complete paperwork, and identify deceased.
Interact with families and professionals respectfully; minimize conversation when appropriate.
Enter event information into proprietary software and transport caskets to proper locations.
Perform vehicle maintenance and fueling; keep vehicles clean and presentable.
