Job summary

Agincare seeks a warm, energetic Support Worker to help two women living together in Ringwood. You will provide 24/7 in-home support, with additional 1:1 hours during the week and weekends.

The role involves assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence and engaging in activities the residents enjoy. We welcome applicants with great people skills and a positive, proactive approach to care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, or complex needs preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with service users and colleagues.
• Positive, proactive approach and warm, energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Support two women at home on a 24/7 basis with daily living tasks.
• Provide 1:1 support hours during the week and at weekends.
• Promote independence and life skills through routine activities.
• Assist with day centre attendance, hobbies, and community involvement.
• Record changes in health or circumstances and communicate with the team.
