Job summary

St Anne's Community Services is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our team, providing person-centred support to four gentlemen across two bungalows to live fulfilling and independent lives.

This full-time role involves 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis, with full training provided and opportunities for development within the charity.

• Previous care or support work experience is desirable but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing support with all aspects of personal care while maintaining dignity.
• Safe administration of medication in line with policies.
• Support individuals to access local community and attend appointments.
• Plan and participate in activities promoting wellbeing and development.
• Encourage independent living skills and budgeting, cooking and tasks.
• Support emotional wellbeing and maintain documentation as required.
• Work with colleagues and professionals to achieve best outcomes.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and positive risk-taking.
