The Laurels of Chagrin Falls, a Ciena Healthcare facility, is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant to support residents under supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and help maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with nursing staff, and adherence to infection control and facility policies. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, including insurance, retirement plans, and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Must be State Tested Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of a state approved CNA program and pass the state competency exam within 120 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable.
• Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and in accordance with facility procedures.
• Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions guidelines at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
• Maintains a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Provides postmortem care.
• Promotes residents’ ability to adapt to living independently as possible.
• Assists residents in activities of daily living and use of assistive devices.
