Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws and plan of care.
• Evaluates function and assists physician in therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively according to patient condition.
• Observes, records, and reports responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instructs patient, family and caregiver in speech therapy areas they can participate.
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
