• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within scope of practice as defined by state laws and the plan of care.
• Evaluate functional level using diagnostic and prognostic tests and assist in therapy plan development.
• Treat patients to improve communication based on their condition.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising nurse/physician.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and team in speech therapy areas.
