Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and communication challenges in a supportive inpatient setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Current state licensure and CCC certification are required, CPR training within 30 days, and a master's degree is preferred (or a bachelor’s with field experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating patients with speech and language needs.
• Developing and administering personalized treatment plans.
• Tracking progress and adjusting therapy as needed.
• Documenting outcomes and communicating with the care team.
