Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and create individualized treatment plans for patients in accordance with department policies. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and current or provisional licensure in the practicing state.

ASHA certification within one year of hire and BLS are required, and the candidate must be able to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; BLS certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals and care delivery.
