Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients per department policies. The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current or provisional licensure, and BLS certification.

ASHA certification within 1 year is expected, with emergency response duties as needed. Preferably 1 year of experience and care for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist licensure in applicable State of practice.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire; certificate maintained per leader discretion.
• BLS certification.
• Certifications must be current before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and comprehensive treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed.
• Maintains licensure and certifications to provide patient care.
