Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop comprehensive speech/language plans of care. You will work collaboratively with physicians to deliver high-quality care across speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing, while ensuring cost-conscious, patient-centered services.

The role requires adherence to regulatory standards, strong communication with patients and families, and ongoing participation in education and training to maintain

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensed as SLP (Speech Language Pathologist).
• BLS certification required (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement speech-language treatment plans.
• Provide care across speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff; educate patients and families.
• Document evaluations and plans per departmental guidelines.
• Maintain infection control and comply with policies.
