Job summary

Accel in Phoenix seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with a wide range of learning, communication, physical, and behavioral needs. You will work closely with the classroom teacher in a structured environment, one-on-one or in small groups, bringing patience and consistent care to daily activities.

Responsibilities include modeling emotional regulation, data collection for IEPs, assisting with centers and meals, personal care tasks, and smooth transitions between

Qualifications

High School or GED required.
Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain.
Must be 18 years or older.
Background check required.

Responsibilities

Support students with learning, communication, physical, and behavioral needs in a structured setting.
Assist one-on-one or in small groups with teacher planning and activities.
Document progress and data for IEPs.
Set up and maintain centers, stations, and instructional materials.
Assist with personal hygiene and toilet routines.
Assist with meal preparation and prescribed feeding programs.
Support transitions between activities and classrooms.
Collaborate with the teacher on lesson plans and paperwork.
