Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Special Education Aide to assist teachers and staff in supporting students with disabilities within the district. The paraprofessional will help with instructional tasks, behavioral support, and daily care under the direction of licensed personnel.

Responsibilities include aiding with IEPs, supervising students during arrival, transitions, and lunch, and assisting with data collection and reporting. Positions may vary by grade level and student needs.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional requirements: meet one of the listed options (credit hours, degree, or test).
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with basic math and data interpretation as part of student progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP implementation under teacher direction.
• Support individual or small group instruction and student independence.
• Escort and supervise students between classes and activities.
• Maintain student records and classroom materials.
• Assist with behavior plans and safety procedures.
• Communicate with parents under supervision.
