Job summary

Kenilworth Public Schools seeks a Special Education Classroom Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, at David Brearley Middle School and David Brearley High School.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Willingness to actively assist special education students in the performance of learning activities, personal care, and/or toileting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with appropriate building staff.
• Experience working with students with behavioral/ learning needs preferred.
• Bilingual- Spanish speaking ability desired.
• Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).
