Job summary

Legacy Pointe at UCF is seeking a SNF Server / Dietary Aide to support residents with accurate, safe, and timely meal service. You will ensure physician-ordered diets, textures, and supplements are provided, while maintaining dignity, safety, and infection control during mealtime.

In addition to meal service, you will assist with tray setup and breakdown, keep service areas clean, and collaborate with Nursing and Dietary teams to address resident needs and concerns.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in food service, healthcare, senior living, or institutional dining preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler certification within the required timeframe.
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets, texture modifications, and infection control practices is a plus.
• Ability to follow physician-ordered diets, diet cards, and service instructions accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Nursing and Dietary teams regarding resident needs or concerns.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and push or pull meal carts and trays as needed.
• Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in dining areas or resident rooms, ensuring correct diets, textures, supplements, and adaptive equipment are provided.
• Assist with tray setup and breakdown and maintain cleanliness of service areas and equipment.
• Communicate closely with Nursing and Dietary teams regarding resident needs, meal intake, refusals, or concerns.
