Job summary

Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Shower Aide for PRN shifts in a warm, family-oriented long-term care facility in Kentucky. You will assist residents with showers and daily activities, while staying vigilant for changes in condition and communicating clearly with the care team.

Qualified CNAs with current certification are encouraged to apply; previous long-term care experience is preferred and appreciated by a close-knit staff focused on compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Following the shower schedule, provide residents with showers.
• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management; asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
