Job summary

The Road Home seeks a compassionate Housekeeping Team Member in Sandy, UT. This in-person role supports guests and staff by maintaining clean, safe spaces, handling linen services, processing donations, and ensuring restroom and common area sanitation in a high-demand shelter environment.

Candidates should be able to work independently, interact professionally with guests, and follow safety protocols. The role is full-time with benefit options and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse and/or vulnerable populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate laundering of motel linens to ensure daily supply of fresh bedding for guests.
• Assist with collecting and sorting motel donations for facility and guest use, maintaining respectful interactions with donors.
• Perform basic cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and offices including sweeping, mopping, toilets/showers/sinks, trash, and sanitation tasks.
• Perform daily restroom maintenance, restocking supplies, and coordinating with maintenance staff.
• Conduct rounds of motel property to ensure safety and respond to issues.
