Job summary

Independence Village of Madison Heights is seeking a part-time Server to join our dining team. You will perform a variety of food service tasks and maintain clean, sanitary service areas and equipment while delivering friendly, attentive service to residents and guests.

The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required, and a positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service and consistently display an attitude that fosters a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a professional manner and please residents and guests.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Perform side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Ensure residents and guests receive high quality food in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a positive attitude, professional behavior and good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.
