Dial is hiring a Part-time Driver in Elkhorn to provide safe transportation for residents to activities and appointments. You will transport residents to medical appointments, assist with mobility, and ensure safety during pickup and drop-off.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and a Class B or C CDL if required for bus operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and excellent customer service in a caring senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Class B or C CDL license required if operating a bus.
• Chauffer’s license may be required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and locations, communicating effectively with residents.
• Ensure resident safety as they enter and exit vehicle.
• Assist residents with walking aids when entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
• Maintain records of resident appointments and assist with monthly billing as needed.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems/deficiencies of the vehicle.
• When necessary, assist the lifestyle team with activities during outings.
• Report any concerns of the resident’s well-being to supervisor or Executive Director.
• Participate in emergency evacuation drills and help residents to safe areas as needed.
• Maintain vehicle in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before end of shift.
