Job summary

Rose Tara Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Transporter to safely transport residents to medical appointments, community activities, and other outings.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with boarding/exiting vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and coordinating schedules with staff for timely service. A valid driver’s license and a compassionate demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to operate a passenger transport vehicle (training provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, social outings, and activities.
• Assist residents boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness, fueling, and basic maintenance of company vehicles; report issues.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with staff and residents for timely service.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility protocols.
• Maintain transportation logs and report incidents or concerns as required.
• Provide friendly, professional, and reassuring customer service to residents.
