Stonecroft Assisted Living seeks a dedicated Resident Transporter to ensure safe transportation for residents to medical appointments, activities, and outings. The role emphasizes compassionate care and dependable service within our housing community.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with boarding, maintaining vehicles, and coordinating schedules while upholding safety standards and professional communication with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a passenger transport vehicle (training provided if necessary).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, social outings, and activities.
• Assist residents during boarding and exiting vehicles to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain company vehicles: keep clean, fueled, and well-maintained; report issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and plan efficient routes with staff and residents.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and facility protocols.
• Maintain transportation logs and report incidents to staff.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents during transportation.
