Job summary

Moose Lake Village is seeking a Bus Driver to support residents by transporting them to events in Moose Lake, MN. This on-call role requires a safe, positive attitude and reliability in a healthcare-adjacent setting.

The ideal candidate will have a good driving record, pass MnDOT requirements, and communicate well. Experience with memory loss or disabilities is preferred, and a friendly, proactive personality is valued.

Qualifications

• Good driving record: no moving violations for the last two years.
• Must pass the MnDOT physical examination and a criminal background check.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with people with memory loss and physical disabilities is desired.
• Friendly, outgoing and positive personality.

Responsibilities

• Drive the bus for scheduled resident and employee outings.
• Complete proper documentation for MnDOT including daily logs and quarterly reports.
• Track and schedule maintenance for the bus.
• Complete daily upkeep for the bus including filling up gas, washer fluid, cleaning the bus, etc.
• Complete additional tasks as requested.
