Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. is seeking a Driver to transport older adult clients on regularly scheduled routes to senior centers, supermarkets, and medical appointments, ensuring safety and comfort.

The role also involves escorting and assisting frail clients from homes to the vehicle and back, and handling light clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and mail distribution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (preferred).
• Valid NYS Class D driver's license with driving record printout.
• Defensive driving certification within 6 months of employment.
• One year of driving experience with a clean record (no DWI) and limited violations.

Responsibilities

• Transport older adult clients on regularly scheduled routes to destinations such as senior centers, supermarkets, and medical appointments.
• Escort and assist frail clients from their homes to the vehicle and back, as needed.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, answering phones and distributing mail.
