Job summary

Active Day is seeking a dependable Driver to operate mobility buses, assist members during boarding and transit, and ensure safe, on-time transport to and from our centers. You will escort members in all weather, support field trips, and help with medical appointments and errands as part of our daily operations.

We value strong communication, reliability and a positive attitude. Expect to follow DOT requirements, maintain records, and work a flexible schedule in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and state/vehicle-specific credentials.
• DOT exam and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and follow maintenance and fueling schedules.
• Assist members with on- and off-boarding and ensure safe transport.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and accurate route/mileage records.
• Communicate professionally with members, families and staff.
• Adhere to safety policies, procedures and regulatory laws.
• Identify operational improvements to enhance member experience.
