Job summary

The Wellington at Springfield, a Sonida Senior Living community in Springfield, MA, is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport residents to scheduled stops and assist them in and out of vehicles. You will operate vehicles safely and maintain a clean appearance of the vehicle.

You will collaborate with activity staff, support in-house programs, and uphold our commitment to resident safety by reporting any abuse or neglect. CDL may be preferred where required; valid driver’s license is a must.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to routed stops safely and assist them in and out of vehicles.
• Operate vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, planning, organizing, and setup.
• Report any abuse, mistreatment, or neglect to the Executive Director.
• Act as a positive representative of the community at all times.
