Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Driver’s License required.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to remain calm and think clearly during emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy, including experience with databases, Windows, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and shuttle service for employees on a 7-day-a-week basis.
• Assist passengers with mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers.
• Follow written or verbal instructions to complete tasks and prioritize requests by urgency.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Drop off and pickup passengers at main entrances and screen properly.
• Report unsafe equipment or vehicle issues to the Transportation Coordinator or Security.
• Maintain passenger confidentiality and comply with HIPAA.
• Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled trips to prepare vehicles, including during extreme weather.
• Record mileage and times daily; ensure vehicle inspections and maintenance are scheduled.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and manage transportation scheduling.
