Job summary

Ivy Park at Mission Viejo, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service and support in a senior living community. The role involves taking orders, serving residents and guests, and maintaining smooth dining operations in a caring, team-oriented environment.

Shifts are Mon & Tues 7am - 2:30 pm with a pay range of $17.50-$18 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, meals, retirement plan, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to communicate with staff, residents and families.
• Must pass a background check and health screenings including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
