Job summary

The Ivy Living – Oakmont Park at Fullerton is seeking a Server to join our senior living dining team. You will serve residents and guests with warmth, take orders, and support dining operations to ensure a welcoming experience.

We offer full-time shifts (Mon–Fri 3pm–7pm; Sun 6:30am–10:30am) with benefits including medical/dental/vision, vacation, meals, and 401(k) matching. Training provided; no previous restaurant experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Customer-focused and compassionate approach.
• Willingness to train and learn.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
