Job summary

Rose Tara Senior Living in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe administration of medications, monitoring residents' health, and supporting the nursing staff to maintain well-being with dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs as needed.
• Support the nursing team and engage residents with compassionate care.
• Follow infection control procedures and keep medication carts and records organized.
