Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy. You will collaborate with the nursing team to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

We offer full-time or part-time hours (days, evenings, nights) with rotating weekends/holidays. Current Medication Aide certification and CPR/First Aid are required; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Current Medication Aide certification per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification current.
• Attends in-service training and maintains continuing education hours.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's and memory impairments preferred.
• Team player with basic computer skills.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Administers routine medications to residents per state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Supports nursing team with personal care, housekeeping, meals, and social activities.
• Collaborates with residents, families, and staff to promote well-being and safety.
