Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Medication Aide to administer routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy. The role includes care tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, and social activities as assigned within the community.

The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care or assisted living, current certification, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medication Aide or Assistant or Qualified Medication Administration Person per state regulations.
• Maintains CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
• Attends in-service training and maintains continuing education hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Administers routine medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Primrose policy.
• Provides care including personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, and meal services as assigned.
• Supports the nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, residents, and families to promote resident well-being.
