Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Thornton Place is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents. You will clean resident apartments, common areas, and dining spaces with attention to sanitation standards.

The role also involves serving residents during meals, taking orders, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Training emphasizes safety procedures and courteous, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills required.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community interior, including residents' apartments, in a clean and sanitary fashion.
• Provide general housekeeping for the community and apartments (vacuuming, cleaning, laundry).
• Deep cleaning of apartments and turnover tasks; manage linen supplies.
• Serve residents: greet, take orders, serve meals, and assist with trays when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and complete assigned duties as needed.
