Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the Community interior and residents' apartments in a clean, sanitary, and friendly manner.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways and common areas, laundry of linens, and following sanitation procedures. The role also involves serving beverages and meals, taking orders, delivering trays, and assisting with miscellaneous duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Effective English communication with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary and courteous manner.
• Provide general housekeeping for community and apartments: vacuuming, dusting, cleaning entryways, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, ensure linen supplies, turn mattress, empty waste baskets, and perform deep cleaning as needed.
• Launder linens in provided facilities.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, and meals from the cart, review menus, take orders, and serve meals and desserts.
• Return carts to kitchen, assist with storage of perishables, deliver trays if needed, bus and clear tables, and reset for next meals with proper sanitizing.
• May perform other duties as needed and assigned.
