The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, safety‑minded, and has at least three years of driving experience with a valid license and passenger endorsement if required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and patience when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to and from appointments, activities, and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, use wheelchair lift/stairs as needed, and handle mobility devices.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction; verify all residents are accounted for when leaving or returning to the community.
• Prepare the vehicle for operation and coordinate basic vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain valid driving license per state regulations and follow transportation safety procedures.
• Support resident programs and activities as needed and engage residents during trips.
